mystery of the recurring CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! We own and love a 2012 Dodge Journey R/T. Purchased at this dealership. After several service calls that we all thought would fix the stubborn Engine We own and love a 2012 Dodge Journey R/T. Purchased at this dealership. After several service calls that we all thought would fix the stubborn Engine Light warning.(replaced (1) # 3 cylinder coil, replaced (2) spark-plugs (3) Throttle body a $1,400.00 fix in Dec.2016 and Jan.2017) Then the light came on again for the 4th time. THIS time the service department had had ENOUGH. they spoke with the powers that be at Chrysler Corporation themselves and they solved the problem by working on my vehicle for 6 days .they replaced all gaskets, 2 camshafts12 arms,12 tappets 2 actuators ,head ,filter ,core oil and filter. .They even somehow found the parts needed to complete a recall on the power steering hose and fluid we had been waiting for since JULY 2016 !!! All done at NO CHARGE . The credit goes to BOBBY STEWART> THE BEST Service coordinator in Any Dealership anywhere. BOBBY STEWART and his team of techs and mechanics went above and beyond this time . Thanks to everyone at this dealership. We have driven Chrysler products since the 1980s and thanks to this experience we will continue. Again thanks to the staff at Motor City Chrysler Windsor. Awful service!!! I bought a new 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited a year and a half ago and from the beginning have noticed a huge transmission problem along with other probl I bought a new 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited a year and a half ago and from the beginning have noticed a huge transmission problem along with other problems with the moon roof and rust along the window. I have brought the jeep back to Motorcity Chrysler over 10 times through this year and a half to basically have been told that they could not duplicate the problem with the transmission, nothings wrong with the moon roof and they never fixed the rust until now. They told me I don't know the difference between how a Chrysler 200 and a Jeep drive so it's just me right, apparently females don't know a problem with their vehicle or how it should handle!! They did numerous software updates multiple times and handed the keys back everytime basically saying good luck hopefully this fixed the problem. Along with that they gave me a loaner with an engine problem, another loaner that was sold and nevermind bringing my jeep back I also had to return three of theirs! FCA also has been no help!! Just this last time I brought my vehicle back in they replaced the transmission and have had my jeep since November until today; not pleased about making the car payments and insurance on a new car that I havent been driving for FOUR months!!! Now I am supposed to drive it and be a test dummy to see if they fixed it and hope to God this 9speed transmission doesn't do the same or doesn't have other problems with it! Not happy about buying the extended warranty when they can't even fix a huge transmission problem for over a yr and a half!!! When the transmission pops it feels like you are stuck in gear not being able to accelerate which isn't fun should you be trying to accelerate to go onto the 401 with a truck coming so staying in the shoulder with your hazard lights on waiting for it to pop into higher gear which feels like you got hit from behind.. pretty scary when it happens and don't feel comfortable even driving it anymore. Apparently the "nice feature" with the jeep is the transmission will adjust and learn YOUR driving which makes it another issue as two of their technicians have been driving it since they put it in so i am the third person to have this transmission adjust to!!! FCA wanted me to pay a few thousand more dollars to get put in a new jeep... like I already haven't invested enough & now they want more!!! I believe the reason you buy a new car is to not have issues with it!!! Awful customer service!!! More

Alleviated my frustration I was incredibly frustrated with the electrical issues my car was having. I went in to speak with Bobby and Adrian about my frustrations and they quickly resolved my concerns and sent me home feeling very confident in their service. I appreciated their compassion and understanding of the situation and will definitely come back with any concerns in the future. Dealership Goes Beyond the Norm We purchased a 2015 Caravan, in 2016 we ran into some tire trouble. We opened the glove box and the lock nut key was not there (was not in vehicle). We purchased a 2015 Caravan, in 2016 we ran into some tire trouble. We opened the glove box and the lock nut key was not there (was not in vehicle). We spoke to the dealership and they paid to have the old lock nuts removed, new ones installed with new key all free of charge. The work was completed in only 2 hours and not a mark on the wheels. Jack Bryan was very easy to deal with (even when I am not always) and along with Kathleen Buchner went above and beyond to give us excellent service. More
