Had always stayed away from this Service department and had my 2011 Sorento serviced at an alternate Kia Dealer, however, since the purchase of my new 2016 over a year ago, I was promised a change or that things had changed and certainly they have. Being prudent shoppers, we had looked around GTA for the best deal and Georgetown Kia was our final stop. Not only did we get the best price (after comparing numerous deals offered by different dealerships), our overall experience was top notch thanks to the dealership’s customer-centric approach, friendly staff, and professionalism. Phil, our product advisor, was a breath of fresh air. He was supportive, accommodative and went out of his way to ensure that we keep the car and the dealership in our consideration set. Initially, we couldn’t agree on a price and I left the dealership a little disheartened and started looking at other cars (which were cheaper and within my budget), but, a demo video from Phil was the clincher and convinced me that this is the car for me. We went into another round of negotiations and finally we were able to come to a price point agreeable to both parties. During the entire process, Phil followed up consistently, gave regular updates and accommodated all our requests. He’s simply awesome at his job and instead of a pesky car salesman; he comes across as a genuine, considerate and friendly person, who wants to do the best for you. So far we’re super happy with the car and are planning our first road trip. Based off of our experience, I can confidently recommend Phil and Georgetown Kia to anyone looking to buy or trade a Kia. Haven’t dealt with their service dept. yet, but, if the sales team is anything to go by then service should be a breeze as well. The environment and experience was like night and day between the previous dealership and Georgetown Kia. We were warmly greeted by Ken Shappert (New Car Sales Manager), who offered me to test drive any model car he had on the lot. Ken enlisted the services of Phil Notaro (Salesman Extraordinaire) to assist me in my quest to purchase a vehicle. Phil exceeded my expectations of a “salesman”. I truly feel that he is a great asset to the Georgetown Kia sales team. He was very courteous and friendly. He allowed us to take a long test drive, so that we could be comfortable with the vehicle and explain the capabilities of the car. Phil was thorough with his explanations, there was no pressure to buy. Above all, he was genuinely interested in helping me find the right vehicle for my needs. Phil was able to negotiate a fair purchase price. The negotiation process was transparent, no gimmicks or excessive waiting time for an answer from the finance department. I am truly fortunate that Phil was working that Sunday. We were handled with great care. The sales service was impeccable from start to finish. That made me comfortable purchasing my Kia Optima SX from Georgetown Kia. Phil kept in constant contact with me until I was able to pick up my car. second time charm ... As locals we love to support the businesses in town. Unfortunately, the first time we were in the shop we couldn't come to a deal for our daughter. As locals we love to support the businesses in town. Unfortunately, the first time we were in the shop we couldn't come to a deal for our daughter. However, Adrian really stood out as he tried his best, so when we came across another vehicle at the shop, months later for my husband, we called Adrian directly. He stayed late and we came, drove and bought the truck! Mike was extremely helpful in getting us to the number we wanted this time around and Trish made the transaction complete with ease. It clearly wasn't just a deal as I ran into Trish in town and she remembered who I was and our transaction. We're definitely a client of Adrian's and look forward to dealing with him, Mike and Trish again, as needed. More
