The plan was to visit several more dealer with Ford and VW, to have test drive with Forester, Escape and Tiguan, and to make a decision based on the comparison. So to be honest, I was not planing to pay a deposit and order a car immediately. But after having a talk with Stone, I changed my mind. He knows the ins and outs of Subaru's cars, he is familiar with their competitors, he understands clients' specific needs and concerns, most of all, he is very friendly and patient. You feel like you are discussing with a friend instead of a sales representative - that's the very reason I chose Scarboro Subaru. The made two or three minor errors in the paperwork when I went to pick up the car, but all were corrected very efficiently. The car itself - a 2016 Forester - is much better than I expected. The downside of the dealer is its hardware - the building, the environment, the decoration, which are a little bit old fashioned. I haven't been to many dealers in Canada, but my experience in China told me that any dealer in any medium size city of China would have a way better exhibition room than the one Scarboro Subaru has. Nevertheless, it is the quality of service that matters when you get a new car from and are going to have it maintained periodically by a dealer, isn't it? More
