Horrible Experience at Honda West What a horrible experience at Honda West. We went in on boxing day December 26, 2014 to look at a Odyssey and put down a deposit for the vehicle. What a horrible experience at Honda West. We went in on boxing day December 26, 2014 to look at a Odyssey and put down a deposit for the vehicle. The whole sales processed was rushed and when we went home to look at our budget we figured that buying a new vehicle at this time would not be feasible and I called the dealership the next morning (Saturday) to inform them that we won't be able to go forward with the vehicle purchase and if they could refund the deposit to my credit card. The sales person we dealt with Syed asked for the reason and I told him that it would be difficult budget wise and he kept pushing alternative vehicles to buy and mentioned on the phone that there was no manager in on Saturday to authorize the refund, which for a Saturday during boxing week is strange not to have a manager on site. I then went in person to the dealership and asked the front receptionist if there was a sales manager in and she said yes and I also saw one working where sales staff were talking with to get pricing for customers. So I'm not sure which manager needs to authorize the refund, is it the branch manager, sales manager or finance manager? He also mentioned that on Saturday that their accounting system was down so there is no way of processing the refund and mention that he will need to talk to the higher ups to present my case and they will decide if a refund will be provided. I found it strange that their accounting system was able to take and process deposits on that day as I overheard customers taking to a finance manager regarding putting a deposit on a vehicle but not able to process refunds. I then asked him if the refund I put down was non refundable and he said that he is not saying if it is or isn't and that you needed to speak to the higher ups and will let me know on Monday or Tuesday if a refund is possible. It was excuse after excuse with him and during my conversation with him he made me feel like my reason for not having room in my budget to go ahead with the purchase was a stupid reason and kept asking me what change and why? He mentioned that the sale of the Odyssey was conditional upon me getting a reasonable insurance rate which was discussed during the sale and written on the sales form. I was not able to get a quote as the insurance company I deal with was closed on boxing day and on Saturdays. During the whole process of negotiation and financing terms, never once was the term and condition of the cancellation policy ever disclosed and now I feel like I'm being given the run around in regards to getting my deposit back. More

We recently purchased a 2014 Honda Odyssey through Honda West and were very satisfied with our experience right from sales to finance and the service We recently purchased a 2014 Honda Odyssey through Honda West and were very satisfied with our experience right from sales to finance and the service department. Their low pressure sales approach was a breath of fresh air from other dealerships. Upon pickup of our vehicle, our salesman Jeff was very thorough in explaining all aspect of the vehicle and was very patient with our many questions. I had to return for service approx 2 weeks after purchase due to tire pressure issues and Jeff approached me by name and seemed genuinely concerned that I was having trouble so soon. Turns out that I had a screw in my tire, causing the drop in tire pressure and was no fault of the dealership, however, it was impressive that Jeff was concerned even though his job had been already completed. More
Honda OEM Remote Starter I recently had a Honda OEM remote starter installed in my 2011 Honda Accord EX-L. It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment but I understand tha I recently had a Honda OEM remote starter installed in my 2011 Honda Accord EX-L. It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment but I understand that the dealership is busy this time of year. The customer service advisor was friendly and offered my daughter and I a shuttle ride back home. When my vehicle was ready, they sent a nice guy to pick us up in a new Civic because all 3 of their shuttles were busy at that time of day. A couple of days later I received an email satisfaction survey which I filled out and submitted. Today, an employee of the dealership called me to discuss my survey results and to apologize for the delay in getting my car in for an appt. I find this solicitation for honest feedback and taking it seriously very refreshing and gives me confidence that Honda West is genuinely interested in meeting its customers' needs. The remote starter works perfectly. I've had several after-market remote starters in my various cars over the years and I find that this OEM Honda starter is the best and easiest to use. It definately does NOT have the range like many other after-markets, but the seamless integration with the vehicle's electronics and security system is unparalleled. It's like Honda went back to the drawing board to design a totally new, sophisticated yet uncomplicated starter with extra security features, and they succeeded. The remote fob is large but has a solid high quality feel. Best of all, its made in Japan! Keep up the fantastic work, Honda West. Your business ethics, professional staff and quality workmanship is noticed by everyone as evidenced by all the positive reviews on the internet. More
