Ready and willing to screw you Good experience initially until we had a problem. Sold us a vehicle accident free only to find out later it wasn't. Left us high and dry. They'll tell you they're prices are the lowest but don't let that fool you, these guys don't give a crap once you've signed on the line. Complete 180 from being super nice to ignoring my phone calls and giving me the run around. They should be ashamed. Never again. I will make sure to tell everyone I can about this place. More
Never Again Purchase a 2010 Volvo C30 in June 2014, the problems started from the day I picked up the car. An engine warning light came on within a day. Multip Purchase a 2010 Volvo C30 in June 2014, the problems started from the day I picked up the car. An engine warning light came on within a day. Multiple denials that there was any problem. It finally took a camera shot of the warning light to get them to acknowledge the problem. In July, two or three days after the certification expired, I got a flat tire. The tire dealer refused to repair the tire because the leak came from a crack in the sidewall and went on to show me all the tires had to be replaced because of severe cracking. Also the tires were worn out and even if there were no cracks wouldn't pass a safety inspection. At that point I had only put 2500 km on the car since buying it. There was no way this car was Certified when I picked it up. No return phone calls from JP Motors about this. I am now replacing the entire front end of the car because of separated front end bushings, which the Volvo dealer explained have been on the way out for quite a long time. The CV boots are leaking grease quite badly because of cracks and splits in the rubber and will cause the axle to seize if they go dry and are not replaced. Again it was pointed out to me that this was not fresh damage and yes I realize that CV boots are not part of the certification process, but it should have been part of the initial service. Annoying noises from the brakes have been corrected by replacing the cheap pads used by JP Motors when they supposedly certified the car. Customer Service disappeared with the first sign of trouble. If you buy a car from this place, have an independent inspection done to make sure it actually is Certified. Better yet, buy elsewhere. More
BAD SAFETY CHECK terrible warranty honouring, bad workmanship I bought a truck in the early fall. I started having issues right away. I had it rechecked by my local repair facility. They found that it did not pas I bought a truck in the early fall. I started having issues right away. I had it rechecked by my local repair facility. They found that it did not pass safety on several issues plus they found things that would soon become a repair issue. After contacting JP Motors they offered to fix it. I returned the truck and several things were fixed. It was a mater of days again when things started again. The power steering they had fixed twice before was leaking a third time. The 4x4 wasn't working either. What my shop had diagnosed as the problem was ignored and they did something else with hub vacuum lines. It still doesn't work. The place I have dealt with for 20 years has a fixed right the first time or it's free guarantee. They have never been wrong on any of my vehicles in 20 years. JP Motors is terrible at returning phone calls and I have been given the run around every time. I will be submitting all bills/info/safety certificate # to the MTO Rob the salesman however was super nice, no pressure and was very knowledgable. It was a pleasure dealing with him. And for the record we bought 2 vehicles that day, a Passat & an F 150 More

Horrible service, scammers! We bought a car from JP who at first we thought was a good idea. UNTIL, we had engine problems and even the steering wheel ran out because of a leak. We bought a car from JP who at first we thought was a good idea. UNTIL, we had engine problems and even the steering wheel ran out because of a leak. We had to force ourselves to get in for them to fix everything and they kept telling us to wait. I couldn't drive the car because without steering wheel fluid there was no way I could turn the wheel. They didn't return my phone calls. John Macy was rude and clearly just wants the sale. Henry was the worst salesman ever. When we needed a rental car he dropped us off and drove off, there were no cars at the rental place. I called him, he left us stranded in Burlington and told me to walk to another rental place and I should find a car there. Ended up getting a truck b/c there were no cars. Then when our car finally was fixed they didn't leave the keys in the car and it took weeks for it to be mailed out to me. On top of it, my warranty was a whole other story, I wanted to purchase one and yet when there was another problem the warranty company warned me that I didn't purchase any warranty. I had to pay for things to get looked at and fixed. Please save your time and money and avoid this dealership. More
Decent buying experience, however there were two major issue Right off the top I have not had the car serviced at JP yet so I gave them an excellent rating for service for now. I will update this later after I g Right off the top I have not had the car serviced at JP yet so I gave them an excellent rating for service for now. I will update this later after I get my faulty A/C fixed under warranty. We'll see how that goes. The buying process was simple. No haggling! Since the price was very reasonable I decided not to spend my precious time trying to get a better deal. N.B.-this was the first time I paid asking price for a vehicle in my life-but I felt good about it. There was no dealer prep charge, admin fee or anything else. The sticker price plus taxes and licensing is what you pay. This is where other dealers clip you for an extra few hundred bucks. Kudos to JP Motors. On the down side: The Kijiji ad for the car listed an option which wasn't actually on the car: Heated seats. We discovered this during the test drive and the sales guy blamed the computer for sometimes mistakenly adding options. I tried to get a better price on the vehicle but no dice. Lesson learned: Don't depend on the ad, check out each and every option meticulously. JP provided a Car Fax report which showed a clean accident free history. Car was safe-tied and etested but I obtained Used Vehicle Information Package from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation at my own cost. This report showed that the car was a rental car. No one ever mentioned this to me and they should have. Lesson learned: Buy the Used Vehicle Information Package before you close the deal to give you all the information you need. More
