The first (which should have been the last) was when I was hit with a $125 bill just for putting my back license plate on. A few months later I went back to get the front plate put on (after several parking tickets for not having one) and asked if I would be charged an additional $125 for the front plate installment, at which point a different technician told me that installing plates was a free service. I took my car in a few weeks ago for the yearly tuneup and oil change, and was quoted nearly $500 for the service. Shocked, I questioned how an oil change could possibly be that much and insisted I didn't pay a fraction of that the year prior. I was told that prices had gone up (which was clearly due to the massive reno the dealership is currently undergoing). I ended up forgoing the tire rotation, a filter and the "test drive the technicians do to make sure the vehicle is free of rattles and whistles" to save myself a little over $200. Still, my total was $368. Myself and family have been Land Rover owners for over 25 years. So after speaking with my father, he said he would let me know what his yearly tune up and oil change cost would be as he was scheduled to take his in to his dealer the following week. His total -$158. BAD BUSINESS, point blank. My fathers dealer suggested I call Land Rover directly to file a complaint, which I will be doing. I will be using a different dealership from here on out, even if that means driving to Lake Bluff to use Knauz. Do yourself & wallet a favor and avoid this Land Rover dealership!! More

If you are a old guard or a mainstay like his service manager Greg Urban he is just as corrupt, rude, shady and cut throat and he is given the green light to do it. When you walk in the place is beautiful and elegant but buyer Beware!!! Its all a cover up. They are pretending to be a respectable business in its image and presentation but they are undercover pimps and shysters! If anyone says anything good about Howard Orloff on here is either: 1. They were coerced to do it! 2. They were paid to do it 3. They never had their vehicle serviced. Jeffery Orloff has countless opportunities to do the right thing and walk in integrity and he adamantly choses not to do so! To me he is another Bernie Madoff I feel sorry for his family and everyone who possesses the Orloff name. The Orloff name has been reduced to common thieves! More

We have not owned a car we have enjoyed less nor dealt with a dealership that we enjoyed less. The Range Rover has one thing to recommend it - a ton of power. But the cockpit is arrange very poorly. The car is not comfortable and really does not carry much cargo. Whenever you lean on a piece of the car, it falls apart. Example: We have broken the passenger "leverage" handles in front and back. If you cannot hold onto them with a little leverage, what is their purpose? They just come off in your hand. Howard Orloff is inconveniently located and, in my opinion, they overcharge you for service that you do NOT need. Our suggestion is to stay far away from Howard Orloff and Range Rover. S*#t. You can buy two Infiniti QX60s for the price of one Range Rover. This is a much better use of money. More

I made a brief phone call to the dealership where I was connected with Alicia Houston prior to coming in to view the vehicle that I was interested in. The phone call itself was very easy going and welcoming. Alicia takes the time to truly know her customer and treat them with kindness, patience and respect. She clearly possesses knowledge of any car that she sells as well. Every question is answered thoroughly and precisely. What is very clear to me though, and stands out about my latest purchase is how passionate Alicia is about what she does. Aware of what I was looking for and with my interest at heart, Alicia made my experience one that I wish everyone to have. From the first handshake to the final hug and hand-off of my keys, I have a new friend at Howard Orloff. Good experience with Alicia Houston Had a great experience with my sales person-Alicia Houston. I went in a month or so ago for a test drive on the Range Rover Evoque. I literally had my mind made up that I wanted this truck before I got to the dealer. But when I got in it it seemed a little smaller than my liking, so I sat in a few other models and landed on the Range Rover Sport HSE Lux to test drive. Alicia got a few other cars moved out of the way and we test drove it. She explained all the differences to me and when I told her I wasn't ready to purchase that day but would be back closer to the end of the year she didn't pressure me at all. In the meantime I decided I wanted another color and another year. By the time I was ready to purchase, about month later they had another truck in stock and my husband went back to test drive it on a Thursday, I then went back to purchase it on Saturday. The only thing I noted was a typical sales play of trying to make us think the truck we wanted was being considered by another buyer when the battery was dead and it was literally sitting low like it hadn't been driven in weeks. Therefore-no one had taken the truck out for consideration. Since I had other options it didn't bother me, if it wasn't there when I went back it wasn't meant for me to have. No need to insight anxiety. All in all, the purchase process was easy peasy, Alicia was professional and real, the finance staff was easy to understand. I look forward to having my truck taken care of by the service department in the future. I love my new truck! More

Once I picked up my vehicle, I was made to feel very "special and important". She took tie to go through the features of my new truck and answer any questions. Chris Kowalik, the finance manager, was also very pleasant and helpful I would highly recommend my salesperson and this dealership. More
