Chip Grueter is the President and Founder of DealerRater. Chip established the company in 2002 as a way for web site users to share their sales and service experiences at automotive dealerships with other website users.

DealerRater was the first car dealer review website created worldwide. Prior to developing DealerRater, Chip created over 40 high-performance oriented websites for a variety of different business disciplines as a Senior Development Consultant. Chip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College. He is committed to the success of DealerRater and is actively engaged with the company’s community of reviewers, car dealers, and advertisers.

Chip holds a Pilot's License and enjoys flying down to Cape Cod. His favorite car is the McLaren F1 and his favorite dealership customer service perks are free loaners and free wireless internet access.
Heather Mackinnon, Vice President of Sales
Heather Mackinnon, Vice President of Sales
Heather MacKinnon joined DealerRater in 2008 as the Vice President of Sales. In the past 3.5 years, she has worked to bring over 4,200 dealers onto the DealerRater Certification Program. Heather has been offering online Automotive Solutions to Dealers for the past 10 years.

Heather initiated her career in online sales in 2001, as an account manager for the Boston division of Citysearch.com, where she ranked number one for Boston sales and number five in the company’s national sales force. In 2003, Heather transitioned into the automotive industry playing key sales roles at Autotrader.com and DataOne Software.

Heather is passionate about bringing solutions to car dealers that help them grow their business.
Brad Walker, Vice President of Technology
Brad Walker, Vice President of Technology
Brad Walker is the Vice President of Technology for DealerRater and is responsible for technology vision, strategy and execution. He joined the company in 2002 as the first employee hired by DealerRater.

Brad brings over 20 years of computer software design and development experience to the company and shares his expertise in building flexible, scalable, and high performance enterprise software. Prior to joining DealerRater, Brad acted in a lead technical capacity for software companies in a variety of industries including e-commerce/dot-com, consulting, and financial services.

Brad holds a bachelor's degree in Management and Information Systems from the University of Vermont. He is a competitive cyclist and enjoys filmmaking.

Brad’s favorite dealership customer service perks are free car loaners and car washes.
Dana Faughnan, Controller
Dana Faughnan, Controller
Dana Faughnan joined DealerRater in 2010 and serves as its Controller. Dana is recognized as a young entrepreneur having run a highly successful bookkeeping firm for prestigious clients throughout the Boston area. Dana is responsible for accounting, forecasting cash flows, fiscal reporting, regulatory compliance, and implementation of internal controls.

Her vision is to ensure a sound financial balance sheet by implementing industry proven best practices thus ensuring that DealerRater’s internal financial composition matches the supreme quality of its external products and services.

Dana grew up in New York and Martha’s Vineyard and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She enjoys the outdoors and solving the mystery before reaching the end of the book.
Amy Rosenfield, Marketing Manager
Amy Rosenfield, Marketing Manager
Amy joined DealerRater in 2010 as Marketing Manager and is responsible for leading the development and implementation of brand strategies and marketing programs to expand DealerRater’s presence in the consumer and dealer markets.

As a seasoned marketing professional, Amy has more than 11 years of experience building integrated marketing communications programs for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer organizations. She has a proven track record developing and implementing high impact campaigns and projects addressing customers, prospects and press. Prior to joining DealerRater, Amy held marketing management and consultative roles at a strategic marketing services agency and a high-growth software and services firm in Boston, as well as various positions at Fidelity Investments and the former BankBoston.

Amy received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Smith College and completed additional coursework at Boston University’s Graduate School of Communication. She enjoys spending time at Cape Cod with her husband and two children.
