Took my truck in for a steering column replacement, got the truck back with 5 things wrong. First was the lower part of the dash was re-assembled with the e-brake release handle BEHIND the lower dash. Second was the lovely white glue smeared all around the fuel selector switch on the black dash, Third was my turn signal switch no longer works properly. Tilt steering column was installed to replace fixed column so lovely hole was cut in my steering column cover, and not very professionally, just sloppy, and there was one other thing that I can't recall at the moment... I can't believe they would employ a "Master Automotive Technician" that would let that leave his bay. Service manager had the tech "Fix" the issues, which included a black marker to hide the glue on the dash from the fuel tank selector switch that was broke by the "Master automotive tech". Turn signals still don't work, even after I I had the turn signal switch replaced and the problem is apparently a broken plug. So now, I have a couple daily reminders about the quality work by that Ford tech and dealer didn't think it was their problem, just want you out the door and go away. Lovely...
Lake City Ford is always my go to. The staff is always helpful and quite knowledgeable. Have never left the dealership with a sense of being swindled. Would highly recommend.
Offering a trade in value and then selling that trade in for almost double is in no way a credible business practice. Being advised one could make 25% more for a private sale is hardly the same as the dealership trying to make 80% mark up - do the math. Hardly a way to treat the local buying cohort. Really does expose the true nature of "the car salesman" Shame - Shame - Shame!
just bought vehicle last week all was good..Very smooth Would recommend them...Had problem with tire monitor and service got it fixed right away..
