What Others Say

My highly recommend anyone who buy from this place 1. To review his bill/offer bill in depth and make sure it's aligned with price published on their website due to the fact this price published contain all fees administration and other fees and main price of car exlused tax and licences fees and make sure it 100% match as per the law (Under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA), dealers must follow "all-in price advertising" rules, which require any advertised price to include the total cost of the vehicle.) 2. Make sure you don't pay registration fees twice cash/debit as well in you loan contract 3. There is nothing called must have package as dalawiri package as long it's not published on website as per law Under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA), dealers must follow "all-in price advertising" rules, which require any advertised price to include the total cost of the vehicle. 4. Make sure if you buy Gap insurance and before you sign contract to read all documents of this insurance and have the complete contract of this Gap insurance and have their contact information and who is the provider and how much they cover and btw you are able to get a gap insurance from any insurance for your car 5. There is nothing called lenders bank said you must have gap insurance because bank can't force anyone to buy insurance as per law 6. Make sure to have the used car is inspected before you buy and have as well safety check is done and before the end of this 30 days inspect your car again with licenced mechanic to make sure is aligned 7. Make sure you know what you want and not pushed for other Cars which you don't need or want This is my advice for you so pay attention and make sure that you know your rights and know law

My 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport had serious engine issues under a recall that was never honored. Scott Carmody, the Fixed Operations Manager at Bank Street Hyundai, was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times rude, speaking down to me on a personal cellphone call rather than a proper service line. Despite being a loyal customer, I was charged for services that should have been covered, and repeated attempts to get support were ignored. The problems were part of a known pattern affecting other Hyundai/Kia owners, knock sensor updates, catalytic converter replacements, and eventually engine failure, but neither the dealership nor Hyundai Canada acknowledged the severity or returned calls when my engine warning light came on. Twice, my car left me stranded on the highway with my kids, and Hyundai Canada offered no meaningful assistance. I’ve now traded my Santa Fe for a Toyota Rav4 from a dealership that actually cares. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Bank Street Hyundai or Hyundai Canada.

I am sharing my experience with Bank Street Hyundai to help inform others about their lack of honesty in the service department and the lack of integrity with honouring contracts at this dealership. In 2019, I purchased a used 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT from this dealership, along with an extended warranty that included a contract for unlimited lifetime oil changes. As of April 2025, the dealership has refused to honour this agreement. When I went in for service, they first attempted to mislead me into signing a new oil change contract, one clearly designed to be more profitable for them. They falsely claimed that all maintenance must be done at their dealership in order to qualify for oil changes—a condition that is not stated in the original signed agreement. They then told me the only way to receive an oil change was to agree to this new contract on the spot, which I declined. I followed up with the General Manager, Mr. Eli Nassrallah, regarding this breach of contract. He confirmed they would no longer provide the oil changes, arguing that because I perform some of my own maintenance (such as seasonal tire changes and brake replacements), they cannot verify proper upkeep and are therefore not obligated to honour the agreement. However, the contract does not state that service must be done exclusively by certified technicians. This is a clear example of a business refusing to stand behind their own legally binding agreement. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue professionally, I was met with no offer of compensation and no willingness to honour the terms I originally paid for. My advice to potential customers: be cautious when entering into any contract with this dealership. Based on my experience, they may not uphold the agreements they make and will prioritize profit over customer trust and fairness.

I brought my vehicle in for a recall they don't have loner car for you when they need to keep your vehicle for more than a day secondly I went to pick up my vehicle the next morning the service advisor had said the car was left in side because it had under bodyguard done so I went outside to find the vehicle was left outside over night and there was freezing rain the car was frozen over and I didn't have a winter scrapper so I was able to drive the vehicle up closer to the building so I can leave the vehicle warm and defrost the windows all of a sudden I basically being verbally attacked to move my vehicle instead of offering me a snow scrapper and was told that I'm not special and need to move the vehicle I have been buying santa fe from this location bank street hyundai for a long time 4 vehicle's this will be the last one when you buy your vehicle they treat you like you are very important to them then the service advisor get there hands on you I just felt so disrespected thanks for this terrible experience Garry service advisor

I'm very disappointed with their services. I brought my car in to check the potential leaking of my tire and I have the tire road hazard coverage plan. At the end, I got charged over $350, which is more than 93% of the listed tire price. They said it represented the thread usage. However, this is a two year old car with about 47k km. I have no idea how they came up with this number and the invoice didn't indicate what the issue was with my tire. The road hazard plan costed me more than 3k. If you think about buying a Hyundai car, please be very careful about the plans that they sell you. They are not transparent about how they honor the warranty. Update: Garry told me that Hyundai determined that they owed me 47.64 dollar store credit. However, he told me that he could not do cash refund because he could not request a refund through debit machine. His dealership (Dilawri) does not allow an access to that. This is ridiculous. So technically, they can overcharge you and at the same time make you stay with them. This is a SCAM. In addition, even with the 47.64 store credit, which is unfair to me, I still technically paid 75.8% of the tire (354.31+30-47.64)/(398.99+45), which is ridiculous since the tire is only two years old under normal usage. I also checked my first tire change with them and they charged me about 90% of the tire price, but that time the car was only at 4 months and 15km. With the road hazard protection plan that costs over 3k, which I believe is mostly relevant to tire coverage, your tire will need to break about 30 times to reach a breakeven point. The sales person added it to my contract without even explaining to me in detail of how this works. I also sent a compliant to the email included in the reply below about 5 days ago, and of course, no response. I am going to file a complaint to Hyundai Canada directly. Hyundai's cars are priced relatively low compared with competitors in its class, but they can grab your money through those black box services and useless plans. This dealership is very shady. Be careful!

We purchased a 2020 toyota Rav4 from Bank st Hyundia in May. They told us that the car came with winter tires on rims. When we went to pickup the car our salesperson told us that the tires had been removed from the car and sent to storage. Weeks later and several calls by us to keep reminding them that we still had not received the winter tires. They eventually got them. Now that it is the fall we went to have winter tires put on the Rav4 and found out that the do not fit our car. I texted the salesperson we dealt with and he said those were the tires that came with the car with no solution offered. I emailed customer support and they have not bothered to respond. Very disappointing. Not sure where to turn to next. Ed Kennedy
